I did not watch the debate last night; I donapos;t watch debates, they threaten my embarrassment squick. But I like to read about them the next day to find out who said what etc.
The media headlines today all seem to be along the lines of "McCain puts Obama on the defensive;" "McCain comes out of the gate strong;" "McCain turns up the heat on Obama." They all seem to think McCain did pretty well last night. I know that people with whom I agree about this stuff (i.e. Obama = good, McCain = AIEEEE NOOOOO) probably think McCain did terribly, but Iapos;m not concerned about you all (*heart*); Iapos;m concerned with the undecided voters out there who might be thinking the same as the media, that McCain did well and showed his worth. BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE REALLY REALLY BAD. :(
God, I just want this election to be OVER and Obama comfortably ensconced in the White House PLEASE so that I can stop worrying about it. *hibernates until election day*

I need a good thing to mull.
Pumpkins: I am really looking forward to pumpkin carving this year. Last year we didnapos;t carve any pumpkins, hardly marked the holiday at all but for E going trick or treating. This year I feel like going all out and turning my porch into something creepy and fun or something.
Thereapos;s a house in town that has a teeny little postage-stamp-sized front yard, but every year they come up with the coolest stuff -- they make a mini walk-through haunted yard, with coffins and mummies and zombies and creepy noises and real people buried and reaching out of the ground and a little shack with a werewolf in it and whatnot. They always have hordes of people at their house all night because itapos;s super fun. Iapos;m not plotting anything like that, but I do feel like doing something more than the usual. Nothing I have to go buy, but I could probably come up with something with what Iapos;ve got.
